| Summary: Plans, organizes, and directs comprehensive programs and activities for Senior Citizens at the Senior Center. Manages daily operations at the Senior Center. The list is not intended to be all-inclusive nor exclusive, but is intended to provide examples of typical duties performed. Studies and analyzes recreational needs and resources for Senior Citizens. Assists Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation in conducting market research and developing short- and long-range goals and objectives. Schedules maintenance and use of facilities. Schedules all programs and activities for Senior citizens. Coordinates programs and services with local agencies on aging and service providers for Senior citizens. Purchases equipment and services from outside vendors. Establishes and maintains contracts with service and equipment vendors. Works with staff as well as contract program providers. Studies and complies with all applicable government regulations. Develops and maintains relations with other Senior Center providers in area. Plans trips and drives Senior Center members to area events and places of interests. Applications are available on the City’s website and can be downloaded.
