The Coordinator, Compliance will coordinate the activities and functions of the Compliance Office within the University of Arizona Compliance office. Working with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations, and NCAA and Pac-12 Rules and Regulations to assist current and future student-athletes.
This position will begin on June 1, 2020.

Contribute to maintaining strong institutional control in all aspects of NCAA, Pac-12 Conference, and University of Arizona Athletics rules compliance
Support the documentation and monitoring of activities and NCAA requirements associated with Bylaws 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17
Review multiple aspects of Bylaw 17 across all sports with an emphasis on countable athletically-related activities and time management plans
Collaborate with department staff to maintain accurate and updated recruiting monitoring systems and databases
Assist in the initial eligibility process for prospective student-athletes across all sports
Manage the execution and analysis of prospective and current student-athlete as well as high school and two-year college coach complimentary admissions
Maintain official team rosters and assist with approving student-athletes for practice and competition
Support department-wide rules education initiatives and conduct rules education sessions
Organize and distribute annual NCAA and institutional student-athlete paperwork
Maintain up to date knowledge of NCAA, Pac-12, and University of Arizona policies, bylaws, interpretations and case precedent
Other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletics Director for Compliance
Duties may be adjusted based upon the expertise of the successful candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent learning attained through professional level experience and 3 years of relevant work experience. Additional education can substitute for experience.
Significant experience with and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability and desire to accurately perform detail-oriented tasks and work with basic office software and database programs
Competent with computer software, such as Microsoft Office, Internet and e-mail
