Administrative Operations Analyst (Official Job Title: Business Professional II): This is professional and technical/analytical work supporting the daily operations of Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources (PRNR) Administration. Position performs advanced professional work involving a wide variety of facilitative, analytical, and research related tasks. Responsible for coordination of administrative support for PRNR. Manages department's performance management program and data collection.
Operations: Monitors a wide variety of activities on behalf of Director for the purpose of achieving goals and meeting target dates in compliance with established guidelines, administrative deadlines and regulatory requirements.
Manages Board Assignments, Administrative Assignments and Board Agenda items. Coordinates necessary actions and tracks as necessary to meet established deadlines. Serve as eGenda Coordinator for all PRNR eBars. Drafts, develops, and/or reviews all documentation, letters, reports and/or presentations for accuracy, grammar, completeness and correctness before going to Director for approval and dissemination to Administration, Board and/or other parties.
Collects, tracks and coordinates performance data, quarterly reports, and other essential information from PRNR Division Managers for submission to the Director.
Advisory Board Coordinator: Manages all functions related to the facilitation and administration of two PRNR advisory Boards including Parks and Recreation Council (PARC) and Environmentally Sensitive Lands Oversight Committee (ESLOC). Builds strong relationships with our community partners. Ensures compliance of regulatory/county principles, policies and practices.
Contract Management: Monitors the provisions of agreements, memorandums of understanding and contracts for compliance, financial considerations and reporting requirements. Maintains electronic depository of information including reports, amendments, etc. Frequently coordinates with the Office of the County Attorney to draft agreements and amendments.
Special Projects/Research: Conducts policy and historical research as assigned to assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, policy recommendations, etc. Completes research and analyses identifying trends or issues and assists with continuous improvement of systems and processes.
