This position will assist Recreation Program staff in the day to day running of recreational programs for all ages. Run a sampling of programs from start to finish including set up, marketing, hiring and supervision of staff. Assisting with the supervision, registration, paper work related to programs, camps, leagues, Play It Safe activities, beach activities and other programs as assigned. Customer service including answering phones, taking registration, and fielding questions. Schedule includes some evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Parks or related field. Receiving college credits for work and enrolled in a college course for internship credit preferred. 40 hours per week end of May – mid August, $11.00 per hour, no housing provided.
