The Woodridge and Lemont Park Districts in Illinois have an opening for a shared Information Technology Coordinator. This position will have specified scheduled days at each District (located approximately 8 miles apart). Occasional flexibility in altering schedules depending on the needs of each District may be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and support of the information system resources of both Districts.
POSITION: This is a full time, exempt position that reports to the Superintendent of Finance, Personnel, & IT at the Woodridge Park District and to the Asst. Manager of Maintenance and ADA Compliance Officer at the Lemont Park District. QUALIFICATIONS: o Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. o Minimum of (2) two years of experience in a network support position. Experience working in parks and recreation or related field is preferred. o Certification technology areas including networks and software applications preferred. o Thorough and comprehensive knowledge of information systems technology to include but not limited to: the Internet, firewalls, antivirus, firmware, ransomware, content filtering and spam protection. o Strong knowledge of computer hardware, including but not limited to: personal computers, routers, printers, wireless equipment, and telecommunication equipment, as well as software including Microsoft Office products. o Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills to perform and prioritize job responsibilities.
RESPONSIBILITY: This position will administer, provide technical support, monitor and maintain operational stability for Park District data and communication network systems to include but not limited to: VMware virtual infrastructure; Windows Server; vCenter, SAN, VPN; Windows client workstations; Exchange email; Park District issued cell phones; VoIP communication system; Wireless Internet service; Network interfaced data processing equipment; building access control and surveillance systems. This position will also act as the liaison with product support on behalf of the Park District users in support of software systems including be not limited to: recreation programming and point of sale; accounting/budgeting; projects; golf course tee reservation and point of sale; payroll timekeeping system; computer aided design; and cell phones. SALARY RANGE: Range starting at $49,200 depending on qualifications and experience.
