This full-time, year-round position provides an Associate Athletic Director for the Department and reports directly to the Athletic Director. The primary responsibilities include the development, leadership and administration of all external relations and resource development for the Department, including fund raising and revenue generating activities, managing both corporate partner and Pack Club membership programs, serving as a liaison between Athletics and the CSU-Pueblo Foundation, overseeing marketing/promotions and ticket operations, managing special fundraising events and donor giving (small and large gifts, planned giving), organize and administer hospitality rooms (football and basketball), serving on administrative committees and establishing a strong community awareness for Pack Athletics. This position will also provide oversight for the Department's community engagement and will have sport supervision responsibilities. The position will also serve as a key member of the leadership in the department and help the University and Department fulfill its mission and vision.
Development, leadership and administration of the revenue generation program in athletics while overseeing marketing and promotions, ticket operations, community engagement and specific sports.
Manage all corporate sponsorship accounts and Pack Club memberships. Serve as the lead fundraiser for donor manager, relationship builder and solicitor. Organize, manage and market Pack Club luncheons.
Lead external relations staff in Athletics, including developing a strong relationship with the community of Pueblo, the Friends of Football and other essential community organizations.
Organize and administer special events in athletics, including hospitality rooms at football and basketball, golf classic, Pack the Park, Day of Giving and Pride of the Pack Banquet. Serve as a direct supervisor for various external relations staff and fulfill sport supervisory duties.
Serve on administrative and executive committees in Athletics as well as on the leadership team.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year institution and a minimum of 2 years of experience in related-area
Two years of full-time fund-raising, corporate sponsorships/sales or revenue generation experience
Able to demonstrate successful skills in cooperation, organization, communication and problem solving
Demonstrated ability to be successful in a diverse environment
Master's Degree from an accredited 4-year institution
Successful athletics administration experience, including coaching, supervision, event management, marketing and promotions, sales, ticket operations or other athletic-related activities
Experience supervising employees and staff
