The University of California, Riverside Recreation department seeks a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive professional to assist the Assistant Recreation Director of Aquatics in the student staff development and supervision of the Aquatics Program. High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Certification to instruct in the applicable recreational sports program or equivalent experience.
Red Cross CPR.
Standard First Aid Training Certification.
Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid for Lifeguards/CPRo
Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor
Advanced First Aid (Title 22, EMR, or EMT)
Obtain Red Cross Title 22 certification within 12 months of appointment date.
Obtain Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor within 12 months of appointment date.
2 - 4 years of related experience.
Ability to successfully pass FBI and DOJ Criminial Check.
Red Cross CPR certification is required.
