The Athletics Facilities Manager has primary responsibility for the management, operations and scheduling of facilities for the University’s NCAA Division I-FBS intercollegiate athletics program. Duties include overseeing scheduling of various athletics facilities and providing support for events, including practices and competitions. Individual is also responsible for administering game management services for women’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s tennis, men’s and women’s track and field and men’s and women’s golf. Individual may also be assigned primary responsibility for any of the Department’s 16 NCAA Division I sports and/or facilities as required.
•Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Management, HPER, HES, Sports Management/Administration, Recreation, Education, Economics, Liberal Arts, Communications, Sociology or any other field related to responsibilities and duties •Previous professional experience in intercollegiate athletics required, preferably at the NCAA level •Strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills required •Knowledge of applicable NCAA rules/regulations required •Ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and holidays •Ability to be self-motivated and team-oriented •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with coaches, staff and administration •Ability to prioritize duties with conflicting deadlines •Ability to multi-task •Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain a driver’s license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date. •The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the time of hire. The department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
