IDEAL CANDIDATE: The Golf Pro Shop Supervisor under general supervision performs a variety of complex clerical work related to development and scheduling of golf tournaments, works with local and regional golf associations to develop tournaments, maintains membership list and billings, and inventory/sales in the golf pro shop. The incumbent also assists in the management and operation of the Golf Course Pro Shop and merchandising.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Physical Education, Parks Administration, from an accredited university or college, or related field, plus three (3) years of related experience, of which one (1) was directly related to the supervision of a golf facility and programs, to include one year (1) supervisory experience. Or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have or obtain by date of hire a valid driver's license applicable to job responsibilities, with a driving record acceptable to the County of El Paso.
