What You'll Be Doing
This is supervisory and administrative work supervising staff, planning and developing aquatics programs, fiscal management, and special event coordination. Responsible for technical and administrative work that involves overseeing the safe and effective operation of buildings, facilities, and equipment with primary emphasis on aquatics facilities. Work also involves providing lifesaving assistance, ensuring the safe use of the pool facilities, and safeguarding the conduct of pool patrons. Work may also involve responsibilities for maintaining records and enforcing established policies and procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in a recreation related field or equivalent combination of education and experience; minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible work in facility management and/or program responsibility in a recreation field; Certified Pool Operator Certification, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Standard First Aid and Lifeguard Training, and Water Safety Instructor, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
