The Urban Forester will conduct inspections of tree health and safety, determine approved street trees, developing permit conditions, assisting with review of landscape plans, managing City owned forest land and responding to customer inquiries.

Training and Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Forestry or a related field and two years of urban forestry experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description.
Oregon Driver's License- Class C
Arborist Certificate within one year of appointment
Pesticide Applicator's License withing on year of appointment
