The New Mexico Youth Soccer Association is seeking motivated, innovative, creative, organized and high performing candidates for the position of Programs Administrator.
The New Mexico Youth Soccer Association is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit corporation and National Youth State Association of the United States Soccer Federation.As members of US Youth Soccer, we represent, govern and serve 18 member leagues and their 45 club affiliates.We have 22,000+ registered players, coaches and administratorsina service area that extends throughout New Mexico and into west Texas, southern Colorado and eastern Arizona for certain programs.We provide rewarding recreational and competitive opportunities for boys and girls 3-19 years old.

About the Position:
The Programs Administratoris responsible for the management and supervision of NMYSA leagues, programs, cups, and special events, which include, but are not limited to: Arizona New Mexico Development League, Middle School Soccer League, Target United Cup, NMYSA State Cup, TOPSoccer, and Futsal development.
This position may be a good fit for you if you have:
Planning, developing, and coordinating programs and/or special events for youth
Overseeing operational activities in support of programs and events
Securing facilities, coordinating schedules, and determining registration processes and capacities
Serving as a program/organization representative to the community; preparing and providing marketing communications and related materials; maintaining website content; and performing community outreach in support of Youth programming
Operating registration and scheduling software (youth sport specific is preferred)
The Ability to:
Recruit participants in programs/events (i.e. build relationships with potential participants)
Provide excellent communication in a variety of communication methods with key program stakeholders (parents/guardians, staff, volunteers, participants, coaches, host site staff, etc.)
Prepare and Administer assigned budget, monitor expenditures, and purchasing equipment and supplies
Recommend and implement policies, processes, and procedures
Provide support to other organization-wide programs and special events
Resolve conflict and deescalate when responding to concerns and complaints
Required Experience and Training:
Bachelor's degree with emphasis in education, public administration, or sport/recreation and one year of related professional experience.(An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered). Experience in soccer is preferred.
