In this position you will:
Evaluating effectiveness of such services and practices
Making recommendations relating to projects, needs, and development
Assisting in the advancement of long and short range plans and assists with budget preparation.
Participate in managing division budgets and other office administrative tasks (filing, reports, etc.)
Need to be:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in Recreation, Leisure Services, Physical Education, or related field with one (1) year of experience in aquatics or recreation programming; OR Associate's degree and two (2) years of continuous full-time professional experience in aquatic operations.
Energetic, self-motivated and highly organized with outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, dedicated to providing a high level of service to a diverse customer base
Working knowledge of the principles, practices and regulations utilized in the administration and operation of aquatic facilities and related programming
Publicize and promote assigned service areas, schedule facilities; track and report on service lines and participant comments; recruit, train and supervise seasonal employees
A team player, capable to engage with others in a positive and collaborative manner to get results
Licensed driver with a good diving record
· Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, work a flexible schedule and in all weather conditions
· American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor (LGI) certification.
