As an organization of excellence, we're looking for just the right person to join the Marana team. We're seeking an accomplished and innovated parks and recreation leader to serve as the next Parks and Recreation Deputy Director.
Depending on qualifications and experience, the position offers a negotiable hiring range of $86,573 to $100,000. The salary range is $86,573 to $129,860. The Town has a full and competitive benefit and retirement program.
The minimum requirements for the position:
Bachelor's degree in parks and recreation administration, business, public administration, management or a related field.
Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in planning and managing parks and recreation services, programs, facilities and employees.
The minimum qualifications must be met as written above.
Three of more years of progressive supervisory experience.
Certification(s) by the National Recreation and Parks Association.
Recruitment Process: This position will close on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. The Town will then invite a short list of candidates on site for further assessment early August 2019. Post interview finalists will undergo reference checks, background checks and academic verifications.
