Responsibilities: The Athletics Communications Multimedia Graduate Assistant will coordinate and produce all video operations for Pace Athletics, which include but not be limited to, the execution of audio/video live streams for all home events, and the production of web features and highlight packages for all 14 of Pace’s NCAA Division II athletic teams. They will also assist in other creative needs for the athletics department, including graphic design for social media and video boards, and the creation of other promotional materials for the athletic department. Develop and track metrics, as well as provide data analysis to create a strategic approach for content distribution. This role will also assist with other aspects of the communications office as needed including statistics, programs, website updates, marketing communications and other duties as assigned.
Experienced preferred in producing live web streams; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects; graphic design and animation and the use of lighting equipment and audio equipment.
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in video production, communications, marketing, management, IT or any other field related to duties and responsibilities
This is a 10-month position. Ability to work weekends as well as nights is required. Some travel may also be necessary.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, sports administration, journalism or public relations. Website management experience (creating, editing, updating) preferred. Effective communication (oral, written and interpersonal) skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and video production. Experience in sports reporting and feature writing.
