Serves others as a positive and encouraging energetic leader.
Are you ready to bring a fresh leadership perspective to a department with great employees and awesome potential? Are you prepared to help create innovative programming and to discover new ways to get community members involved in recreation and wellness? Does the thought of an unused park or exercise studio make you determined to find ways to increase utilization? If so, this may be the position you've been seeking. We are looking for a visionary and strategic leader for the Director of Parks & Recreation, and one who will help the City Manager discover new ways to increase community engagement by utilizing all the city's recreational facilities and parks in fresh and innovative ways. We don't want to do what everyone else is doing.
We want everyone else to want to know how Pelham is doing it.
