As a member of the Recreation Division, incumbents in this position assist in the development, planning, supervision, and implementation of recreation programs, creating a positive, encouraging experience for participants. Incumbent will work collaboratively with various Recreation programs to continually improve operations and receive a well-rounded experience.
The days of work and hours will include Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays, January - December in accordance with scheduled programs and trips; not to exceed 20 hours per week. General schedule will be given at date of hire and can be adjusted with student’s class schedule.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
Currently enrolled in an accredited university with a major of Recreation, Leisure Services or a related field required
Two (2) years of previous related experience, volunteer or paid, working with parks and recreation programs and activities preferred
Experience with cash handling and reconciliation, customer service, record keeping for attendance, deposits, and timesheets a must
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
A valid Colorado Driver's License that meets the Town of Windsor’s standards and ability to maintain throughout employment
Current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment required
