Sycamore Park District has just completed a new "Recreation Campus" featuring a community center/fitness facility, dog park, splashpad and sled hill with natural amphitheater; along with 10 more sport fields coming by 2020! To fill these spaces with enriching opportunities, the Recreation team seeks a dynamic, outgoing individual to lead the District’s existing athletic programs, and a growing recreation programming presence in town. The successful candidate will be passionate about all forms of recreation with a proven ability to develop new programs and supervise/direct programs while meeting the community’s needs with responsiveness and creativity. High Energy is a must!

The Sycamore Park District is a tax-based recreation and wellness service provider in Sycamore, IL. Along with being stewards of Sycamore’s neighborhood parks, community parks, athletic fields and natural areas, the District provides a wide variety of recreational, social and educational opportunities and services. The District is in the midst of a period of growth as it fulfills its long-range plan, ACTION 2020. Facilities and services continue to expand with the 2018 additions of a community center, splashpad, and sled hill along with an upcoming dog park, sports complex expansion and golf course improvements. These new projects along with the existing community pool and golf course continue to expand services and opportunities, attract new users, and enhance the District’s mission: “We put the MORE in Sycamore!”
