The City of Madison, SD seeks qualified applicants for a full time Community Center Director.
The Community Center is a joint City of Madison and Dakota State University facility providing services to the local area and students. This position is responsible for directing all Community Center operations, programs, and activities. The Director develops and implements strategic plans and marketing strategies, establishes and monitors budgets, manages all staff, and is a point of contact for the citizens of the community visiting the Community Center.
Requirements include knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field. Strong oral and written communication, leadership, and customer service skills are required, with a preference to candidates with three to five years of management experience in a related field. Salary starts at $61,158. Excellent benefit package.
