Brushy Creek is a vibrant active community featuring a busy Community Center, numerous highly used parks and miles of running trails. We are seeking a vivacious individual to plan and execute community events and festivals making Brushy Creek an even better place to live for our residents.
The Community Events & Adult Program Lead creates, plans, promotes and manages recreational and community enhancing programs along with special events at Brushy Creek’s parks and recreational facilities. Proven success with planning and execution of public events is a must. Social media experience and public speaking skills are a plus.
This is a full time position offering a salary of 36K to 45K based on experience. Generous benefits which include company paid medical, dental, vision, life insurance, STD and LTD for employee. Holiday pay, Paid Time Off and participation in Texas County & District Retirement System.
High school diploma or GED required; B.A. or B.S. degree in Parks & Recreation or closely related field preferred; prior program delivery experience;
Experience working with the public, especially in customer service required;
Must pass a drug screening test and criminal background check;
Must be First Aid, CPR, and AED certified, or ability to obtain immediately upon hire;
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s license and a driving record which meets current auto liability insurance requirements.
Additional Salary Information: Earn 13.33 hours paid time off each month, 11 paid holidays, monthly cell phone stipend
