The Town of Windsor is looking for a Recreation Supervisor in Aquatics. As a member of the Parks, Recreation and Culture team, incumbents in this position perform work in a team-based environment supporting the Department’s mission and vision along with the goals, philosophies, and initiatives of the Recreation Manager. The supervisor manages and supervises a comprehensive recreation program which includes one indoor pool, one outdoor pool and a lake. Work involves overseeing pool maintenance and chemistry, evaluating cost efficiency and effectiveness for aquatic programs as well as developing and monitoring assigned budgets.
Pay Range: This is an Exempt position $1854.92 to $2318.73 Bi-weekly
($24.15 to $28.92 hourly) Depending on education and experience.

• High school diploma or GED • Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field (tourism, recreation, communications, etc.) • Two (2) years of increasingly responsibly professional, technical, and/or supervisory experience in aquatics, programming, operating and maintaining both indoor and outdoor aquatics facilities for classes and lessons • Two (2) years of experience in pool maintenance required • Two (2) years of progressively responsible supervisor experience required • Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides evidence the applicant possesses the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES • A valid Colorado Driver's License that meets the Town of Windsor’s standards; ability to maintain throughout employment • Current Lifeguard certification in American Red Cross required. If current in Ellis, YMCA or Star Guard will need to obtain American Red Cross certification within 30 days of employment • Current CPR/AED/First Aid required • Current Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment • Current Lifeguard Instructor trainer preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment • Water Aerobics Instruction certificate preferred • AFO or CPO certification required
