The City of Nome, Alaska is looking for an adventurous new Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation to add to their small, dynamic department. This is a great entry level administration position for professional development and it allows the opportunity to learn the many different facets of the parks and recreation field.
From aquatics to after-school program instruction; sports league administration and maintaining the department's website this position has a little bit of everything all while living off the road system in bush Alaska!
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the job descriptions duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed in the job description are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
Not less than 21 years of age.
Aquatics experience and swim lesson instruction and/or programming experiences are major plusses!
