Essential Function. Plans, directs, coordinates, promotes, and manages the Club’s social activities that are designed to enhance the overall enjoyment of the members, families, and guests.
Duties and Responsibilities
Works with management to create and implement all scheduled activities and special events on the Club’s calendar for each month. Plans the calendar at least 3 months out.
Ensures supplies, decorations, and/or publicity needs are met for each program and event.
Creates and monitors the RSVP sheets regularly to ensure accurate signups, determine cancellations, guarantee proper payment, etc.
Trains and supervises staff working the various events scheduled to assure an effective program for members and guests is ongoing.
Creates and implements activities for the Kid’s Club, ages 7-12; including being responsible for the quarterly Kid’s Club newsletter content, design, and publication.
Responsible for planning and implementing the Summer Camp program, including registration information and brochures.
Prepares and gathers the content for all upcoming programs and events for the Club’s monthly newsletter.
Works closely with all other departments to ensure that complete, concise information goes to both Club members and staff.
Keeps an accurate record of programs, including an Event Planning Sheet and an Event Review that are put in a file for each event.
Prepares a monthly Activity Analysis report reflecting participation, revenue, and expenses.
Updates bulletin boards throughout the Club every other week and the Musak system monthly.
Attends all special events scheduled and carry out duties when needed.
Works evenings, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Reports To: Assistant Club Manager
Supervises: Children’s Program Coordinator, Activity Leaders & Camp Counselors
This position is subject to overtime.
Must have experience in event planning and working with a wide range of ages.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
CPR/AED certifications required
Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Instructor preferred
Responsible for reaching Club financial goals and presenting an annual Actvities Operation budget and make recommendations for Capital Budget.
Responsible for maintaining Company, Member and Staff confidentiality.
