The University of Massachusetts Amherst Department of Athletics is accepting applications for a Director of Ticket Operations.Oversee all aspects of the athletic box office and ticket operations for UMass Athletics. Manage all logistics, financials, and duties associated with operating a top flight FBS box office which is both fiscally stable, and proactive in sales and fan experience initiatives. Provide exemplary customer service to our fans as well as other departments within the campus community. Work within our operational structure and athletics mission in order to increase revenue through ticket sales through industry best practices.Responsibilities:•Manage ticket sales, parking, and related gifts for 5 ticketed sports. Oversee UMass Box Office Operating Budget. Assist all other UMass Athletics departments with various ticketing needs.•Oversee contracts with ticket platform Paciolan (Spectra) as well as partners: Experience, FanOne & StubHub. Manage relationship with Aspire external sales and retention unit.•Coordinate staffing and game coverage logistics, and operating budget thereof. Carry out all responsibilities involved in the management of direct reports.•Work with on campus constituents for Homecoming, Hall of Fame, Family Weekend and other important campus events. Manage ticketing for all UMass Football and Men’s Basketball games including home, away, and post season events. •Cooperate with the Athletics compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies, including reporting requirements, and make a determined effort to ensure that staff and teams are in compliance. •Exhibit a willingness to collaborate with all external department groups to increase revenues, fan avidity, community engagement, customer satisfaction, and goodwill towards the University. Minimum Required Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree.•Three year of experience working full-time in an NCAA Division 1 or Professional Ticket Office.•Experience working with Paciolan ticketing platform.•Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service.•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with various constituencies.•Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.•Ability to work a varied schedule including nights and weekends.•Ability to handle stress or high demand situations.•Creative revenue and attendance driving mind set.
