Under the direction of an assigned Recreation Manager, this position is responsible for all aspects of a variety of programs and services for youth from ages 4 - high school, including the Summer Day Camps, Summer Playground & Free Meal Distribution Program, Youth Leadership Corps, year-around pay-to-pay classes, Late Night Programs and After-School programs. This position is a key liaison to city-wide initiatives pertaining to youth development and as such may represent the organization in meetings, symposiums and coalitions in an effort to address gaps and implement collaborative strategies.

Bachelor's degree in recreation program administration, education or a related field and five (5) years increasingly responsible recreation or related experience. Grant writing, program evaluation skills and management of federal and state funding and their requirements is desired.
