As the Middle School Coordinator you will oversee the day-to-day operations and management of nine middle school sites which includes:
Staff supervision and performance
Developing Curriculum standards
Provide leadership and staff support
Market and Publicize program and promote program visibility
A customer service focus is needed to serve to a diverse and broad customer base. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong communication, organizational and computer skills
Experience with conflict resolution
Experience managing an after school program
A positive attitude
Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 10:00-6:00, with some flexibility to meet programming needs.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in recreation, child care, education or related field, and at least 2 years’ experience in working with children or youth in educational, recreational, or at-risk activities. Strong organizational and time management skills required. Previous program planning experience strongly preferred. Must have certification in First Aid, CPR for adult, infant and child, and a negative TB test result prior to beginning work. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid Driver’s License required. Criminal background, child protective services (CPS), credit and DMV record checks required.
