As a member of the Parks, Recreation and Culture team, incumbents in this seasonal position are responsible for assisting the CARA Head Coach with the planning, organization, and supervision of the CARA track program for participants 5 to 15 years of age. Work is performed in accordance with standard practice and methods requiring initiative to complete recurring assignments independently and judgement to determine which methods are applicable in any given situation. Finished work is reviewed for accuracy, quality, and completeness. Unfamiliar situations are referred to the supervisor.
Most positions work Monday through Friday, which may also require weekend and evening hours on a regular or occasional basis. This temporary employment may be scheduled through the year on a full-time basis depending on the needs of the town, but will not exceed six months in length (or 1,040 hours, whichever comes first). This is strictly temporary (“at will”) employment which may be terminated at any time and does not lead to permanent, regular full-time employment.

Must be age 16 or older
Minimum one (1) season of track experience or participation with general knowledge of fundamentals of rules and sport.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
A valid Colorado Driver's License that meets the Town of Windsor’s standards
Current CPR and 1st Aide certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Current Concussion training certification, or ability to obtain by date of employment
