This is a safety-sensitive position, exercising a high degree of discretion, trust, integrity and confidence that is responsible for administrative, supervisory, and professional work in the operation and maintenance of the aquatic facilities and in coordinating various aquatics programs. This position is responsible for the management, coordination and evaluation of various facilities and programs within the Aquatics Division.

Work hours are typically Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

A Bachelor's degree in Recreation or a closely related field preferred. Five (5) years management experience in recreation, including aquatics programming and/or operations is required. Current First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Administration certification, Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator, and Lifeguard Training Instructor certifications are required. CPR Instructor, Community First Aid & Safety Instructor, Water Park Instructor, Water Safety Instructor certifications preferred. Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered to provide for the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.
