The 4-H youth development agent will work within a team consisting of another 4-H youth development agent, 4-H mentoring program coordinator, 4-H camp coordinator, 4-H assistant, and county Extension director. This dynamic team will work collaboratively to determine areas of expertise and local responsibilities. The areas of focus within the Jefferson County 4-H program are: equine, livestock, small animals, shooting sports, Cloverbuds, general projects, school enrichment, after-school, outreach, and volunteer development. Jefferson County 4-H is a very innovative and family centered environment focusing on teaching our members and leaders well beyond their involvement in our program.
