The Texas Tech University Postgraduate Intercollegiate Athletics Administration Training Program is intended to provide on-the-job learning experiences for college graduates interested in pursuing a career in intercollegiate athletics administration. This program can last up to twenty-four (24) months.
Future leaders will experience administration principles such as:
Applying a standard of ethics to policy and administrative context
Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of current ticket operations
Communicating relevant information and ideas to management
Managing university resources to achieve organizational goals
Major Essential Functions:
Sell season, individual and group tickets for all ticketed events for The Texas Tech Athletic Department.
Serve as front line fan and donor support in the purchase and resolution of tickets, parking, and donations for Texas Tech athletic events.
Provide exceptional customer service to all constituents, through in-bound call, out-bound calls, emails, walk up traffic and day of game sales.
Assist in the operation of game day operations of selected Texas Tech athletic events, including assisting with post-game summaries including attendance and sales reports.
Maintain accurate records of all activities and sales in ticketing database (CRM/Paciolan).
Assist in the building of seasons, events and individual games utilizing Paciolan software.
Assist with the season ticket renewal process for all ticketed events.
Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations.
Complies with all NCAA Big 12 and Texas Tech University rules regulations and policies.
Qualified applicants must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited university and previous experience with collegiate or professional athletics.
Previous experience working or participating in collegiate or professional athletics.
Previous experience with customer service. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
