A national pool company is looking for a lead swimming pool technician to join the team!
Manage a pool route each week and perform various repairs as needed.
Communicate effectively with management, other employees, and customers.
Perform various service and repair tasks to swimming pool equipment.
Manage sub contractors and pricing on all jobs
Technical Skills Required:
Repair of pool pumps, heaters, filters, timers, pool cleaners, lights, automated pool systems, and PVC plumbing.
Knowledge of water chemistry
Knowledge of 110 volt and 220 volt electrical equipment
Ability to comfortably lift and carry 50 pounds, perhaps multiple times in a day, and, at times, lift and carry 100 pounds.
Conduct regular pool maintenance (test and maintain water quality, adjust automated systems and chlorination settings, clean filters and back wash, brush and vacuum pools, clean tile, clean decking and pool areas, etc.
Applicants MUST have / possess the following:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must pass a criminal background check
No illegal drug use (must be able to pass a drug test and be subject to random drug testing)
High School diploma
Certified Pool Operator preferred, but must be acquired after on-boarding.
