Serves as the primary designer for IPTAY. Responsible for creating both public and customized content to be used across print, email, social media, presentations and proposals. Works with the Athletic Communications team to streamline processes and provide design support.
35% - Publication Design - Essential - Primary designer of Orange: The Experience, the official magazine of IPTAY, and assist with MY Orange Update, a weekly newsletter to IPTAY members. Responsible for the design, layout and coordinationof content for mail newsletter distributed to 17,000 IPTAY members. Also responsible for the design and layout of magazine produced eight times annually.
25% - Graphics Development - Essential - Provide graphic support in all areas of IPTAY. Assist IPTAY Assistant Director of Communications in creating print and digital collateral for use in general fundraising activities. Responsibilities include personalized material for major gift solicitation, annual IPTAY membership guide, other publications and one-off collateral materials.
15% - Campaign Straegy Communications - Essential - Plan and design initiatives relative to specific annual campaigns. Provide creative direction to campaign materials including annual fund, Tiger Cub Club and Young ALumni programs. Schedule regular meetings with IPTAY Assistant Director and IPTAY staff to discuss needs.
15% - Marketing, ticketing, and Parking Collaboration - Essential - Collaborate with marketing, ticketing, and parking operations to ensure consistency in messaging across important donor communications. Design public elements including tickets, parking maps, digital graphics, and other needs as assigned.
10% - Athletic Department Communication Support: - Essential - Support athletic communications efforts to disseminate key fan information via department channels. Acts as an additional liaison between IPTAY and athletic department staff.
An associate degree in art and experience in graphics programs.
JOB KNOWLEDGE Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to use in varied situations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Acts as a Lead by guiding the work of others who perform essentially the same work.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides input into the budgeting process, and manages fund allocation.
