Supervises aquatic staff at the Teton County / Jackson Recreation Center. Management and oversight of aquatic operations to include pool maintenance and repair, inventory records. Conduct and lead trainings in safety, CPR, in-services, and lifeguard certification, to meet pool requirements.
Supervise and provides on-going training to assigned staff; hires, trains, schedules, and assigns tasks to lifeguard staff.
Oversees the daily operations of aquatics; enforces pool rules and policies, maintains operational records, prepares and manages aquatic operations budget.
Directs and participates in preventative maintenance and repair of aquatics equipment; maintains pool filters, pumps, chemical and electrical systems, maintains chemical inventories; assists with maintenance and orders supplies as necessary.
Coordinates with Recreation Center Manager to schedule special and group events.
Performs lifeguard duties as needed.
Qualifications include, Bachelor’s degree in recreation or related field, CPR / First Aid/ AED, LGI, CPO, and three years demonstrated supervisory / administrative experience or equivalent education providing the knowledge and skill sets to perform the job.

Combined town and county parks and recreation department located in Jackson, Wyoming, approximately 20 miles from the Idaho border, 15 miles from Grand Teton Park and 90 miles south of Yellowstone. Population approximately 25,000. Department employs 30 full time and 30 to 80 part time staff. Full time employees receive county benefits package.
