Coordinator of Intermurals, Recreation and Game Operations graduate assistant position is available. The position is designed for two years of study, subject to maintaining a 3.0 GPA, at which point the student should have a completed master’s degree.
The qualified applicant will seek to build a successful intramural and recreation program guided by the core principles of fitness and wellness, healthy competition, lifelong skill development and community building. The intramural program will aim to improve the quality of life on campus and strengthen the ties between and among undergraduates, graduate students as well as faculty and staff through the implementation of new programs that will meet the needs of the college community.
The full-time, 10-month position will involve all aspects of building and running an intermural and recreation program including coordinating closely with the athletic department regarding shared use of facilities, hiring, training and supervising student worker staff, and producing data on student intramural involvement.
The successful candidate will also manage select intercollegiate athletic events which include supervision of game staff, game management, event setup and breakdown and coordination of officials.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree, experience in college athletics or intermurals as either a coach or an athlete, Valid Driver’s License. Hiring is contingent upon acceptance into a qualified Master’s Program at Manhattanville College.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation includes tuition remission, a $500 monthly stipend, health insurance, and a meal plan.
